Usonicig Zip 2-in-1 Starter Kit Vapefly Jester Pod Kit

The Usonicig Zip has a large pod with a duckbill shaped mouthpiece, all styled with a dark tint color. There are two buttons on the upper section of the pod on the front and back which open up the filling mechanism. On the base of the pod is the ultrasonic plate which has two magnets either side of it to keep the pod securely in place. Compared to a traditional coil heating element vape, the ceramic plate in the Usonicig Zip is highly technical and advanced. Three tiny air holes on the upper of the pod feed down, completely isolated from the vape juice, towards the ceramic plate.

One of the defining features of the Usonicig Zip vape is the rotate to fill system. To be able to twist the mouthpiece and access the filling ports, there are two buttons located on the front and back of the device on the upper section of the pod. The sturdy, robust design of the pod and mouthpiece rotate easily but securely lock into place with a click. In order to prevent any leaking from the device, the fill ports feature self-sealing membranes and raised rubber edges that butt up against the top section when closed. To fill the pod, the nozzle of the filling utensil must go through the seal and be filled until it reaches the "max fill" line on the outside of the pod.

The Vapefly Jester Pod Kit is the company’s first pod system, and thankfully they have decided to buck the trend and bring a little innovation. The Jester Pod Kit may not be the first to offer a rebuildable pod system by the time of release (it seems that honor may go to the Smoant Pasito), but it will be the first to offer a rebuildable dripping system.

The Jester will be available with two different style pods. A regular pod which utilizes either a 0.5-ohm mesh coil or a 1.0-ohm coil, and the second which has a rebuildable build deck on top with the reservoir beneath (much like an RDTA). The standard Jester Pod will use replaceable coils which screw into an adjustable airflow base. However, it’s currently unclear whether the rebuildable base will also feature adjustable airflow.

The pods will have a 2ml capacity and will both feature a top fill system using a simple rubber plug beneath the mouthpiece. The rebuildable deck will also give you the option to drip straight onto your coil by removing the mouthpiece. The pod is held in place by clips, and there are release buttons on either side of the device. It seems like at the time of purchase you may need to choose whether you want the Meshed Edition or Rebuildable Edition. Even though you’ll be able to buy the other pods separate, it would be good to see an option to have both in the kit.
